Parkland Neighborhoods: Heron Bay, Parkland Golf, Watercrest and More
Parkland is entirely residential and organized into distinct planned communities. Here is a practical breakdown of the major ones.
Heron Bay
The largest and most well-known community, straddling the Coral Springs-Parkland border. Heron Bay contains multiple villages (Castlewood, Waterfalls, Grand Palms, etc.) with varying price points from $650,000 to $1.8M. Has its own clubhouse, fitness center, and pool. Some sections have Parkland addresses and some have Coral Springs addresses - verify the specific village and school zone before buying.
Parkland Golf and Country Club
Gated community with an 18-hole golf course, country club facilities, dining, fitness, and tennis. Homes range from $900,000 to $3M+. Community events are centered around the club. Golf membership is separate from HOA fees. This is the most resort-feeling community in Parkland.
Watercrest
Gated, lakefront community in the eastern part of Parkland. Very popular because of the water views and the proximity to the best school zones. Homes run $900,000-$1.5M. One of the more competitive communities to buy into because demand consistently exceeds supply.
Parkland Reserve
More established, mature landscaping, larger lots in many sections. Not as visually polished as some of the newer communities but has character that comes with age. Price range $750,000-$1.3M. Good value relative to the newer-construction communities.
Covered Bridge
One of the most distinctive communities - named for its signature bridge. Quiet, well-maintained, smaller than Heron Bay and Golf and Country Club. Price range $700,000-$1.1M. Less name recognition but consistently high demand.
