Atlantis
A fully gated city, its own police force, championship golf, and zero through traffic.
Atlantis is literally its own municipality, gated checkpoints, a private police force, private streets, and championship golf courses on both ends of town. About 2,100 people live here across roughly one square mile. No commercial corridors, no multi-family complexes, no tourist traffic. If you're a golfer, a retiree, or a medical professional (JFK Medical Center is right on the northern border) who wants to completely escape suburban noise, this is a different category of living. The condo segment has softened, and new construction is basically nonexistent, buyers here are doing custom rebuilds of older 1970s homes.
